THE SILO, in terms of its storage capacity of 50,000 t of grain
and mechanical equipment; ranks among the largest silos in
Serbia . It consists of three basic structures which are
separated buildings, but from the technological point of view
they form one unity. The cell batteries for grain storage are
positioned on both sides of the machine building, and each of them
consists of 6 x 4 cells, dia 7 m. Between the cells there are reinforced
concrete walls 20 cm thick. The silos are built in the sliding
forms technology. All the conveyors in the silo are 120 t/h. There
are separate lines which receive, and especially those which eject
grain from the cells.
