GOLES is a single-track railway tunnel with one side
inclination 11%0, 4,967 m long. Also, 1,312 m of tracks
and 131 m of viaducts were built. The tunnel pierced the
mountain composed of diabase, serpentines and the like.
Large quantity of water occured thereby.
§ The "Ribnica" comprises seven tunnels, the longest being
489 t11, and the total tunnel length 1,535 m. Besides, 2,320 m
of tracks and 790 m of other structures (bridges, viaducts,
culverts) were built.
§ The quantity of works:
- open pit excavation 260,000 m3,
- tunnel excavation 273,000 m3
- concrete for tunnels and other structures 97,000
m3.
