IVAN MILUTINOVIC - PIM constructed the entire port in two
phases:
PHASE I:
- two jetties (northern and eastern) of the total length 3 km;
- six deep water berths made of concrete blocks for reloading
and transfer bulk cargo, the founding depth was at the level of
12 m and the total length 1,100 m;
- dredging in sand, sandstone and limestone, total 700,000
m3; - filling of the port, total 1,900,000
m3;
- reinforced concrete piles for the structure foundations,
cross section 45x45 cm, total 1,000 m;
- two reloading and transfer halls, warehouse, office
buildings, customs, police station, open storage, roads, services, water,
rain and foul water sewage, electricity, water tower, cleaner and
filter, fence and other supporting structures necessary for good
functioning of an international goods and cargo port.
PHASE II:
- eleven deep water berths as in the first phase, total length
2,050 m;
- dredging in sand, sandstone and limestone, total 3,800,000
m3;
- filling of the port, total 2,000,000 m3;
- reinforced concrete piles for the structure foundations,
total 7,000 m3;
- steel piles for the crude oil ring: dia 2,200, bored ... 8
pcs., i=24 m, dia 1,000, bored ... 18 pcs., dia 450, bored ... 8
pcs., i=18 m;
- steel piles for sinhrolift: dia 1,000, bored ... 99 pcs.,
i=21.0 m, dia 560, bored ... 18 pcs., i=13.5 m;
- five transit halls, two storage halls, office buildings,
canteen, workshops and other smaller buildings;
- synchrolift, as a reinforced concrete structure on steel
supports;
- ring for crude oil reloading.
