THE CLINICAL CENTRE is a part of the existing complex of the
Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. It covers 37.5 ha
in the centre of the city. The Centre is attached to the
pavilion-type hospital complex and the new
building will house
all basic branches of internal medicine and surgery. The existing
buildings in the complex after their renovation and
reconstruction will serve for various institutes
and some branches of
medicine.
§ The building of the Centre has a modern concept, and is
furnished with the most up-to-date medical equipment and
technology. The total area is 52,500 m2, and consists of three
bays:
the first bay - GF+12 - diagnosis;
the second bay - GF+13 - hospitalization;
the third bay - GF+2 - surgery block.
The supporting buildings in the complex are: emergency centre, heating plant, power plant and
the access platforms.
§ The structure of the building is the classical one in
reinforced concrete, columns with grid 6.90 x 6.90 without capitals and
secondary beams. The partition walls are prefabricated
flexible
elements. The facade walls are the elements with polyurethane.
