THE TOTAL constructed area is
269,773 m2, out of which 154.893 m2
is covered area. The stadium is intended for
large-scale World events, mass gatherings and celebrations.
Two structural units are visible: reinforced
concrete part and a roof part in steel construction.

The capacity of the stadium is 80,000 seats, out
of which there are two royal boxes for 106
persons, 19 commercial boxes, and boxes to accommodate
250 reporters and journalists. The
stadium is also equipped with two modern color
semaphores, 25 m high gas torch, 8 race tracks. 39 entrance gates in the lower part
and 18 gates in the upper part, TV platforms,
52 entrances (revolving cross-type rail), a computerized system
of ticket selling, 384 WC units, 325 urinals,
28 booths, etc.
§
The sports complex "Shah Alam" contains a
parking; area for 9,032 vehicles, saunas, two swimming pools,
warming-up rooms, cloakrooms, etc.
